Test edition privacy notice

This notice applies to locally installed builds labeled KDraw Studio (test ads).
These include the separate application com.mandalacolor.bynumber.adstest,
version 1.12.0-admob-test, and the signed device-test build of version 1.12.0 using the regular
package com.mandalacolor.bynumber. Earlier isolated test-ad builds also use the
Google services described here.
The signed device-test build can replace a locally installed regular build and use its
existing artwork and settings. The isolated .adstest application has separate
private storage. Both test builds request Google's demo advertisements.
The regular 1.11.2 build does not contain these advertising or consent SDKs. The regular ad-supported release beginning with 1.12.0 uses live advertising and is covered by the regular application's privacy policy. The app was previously listed as Mandala Color by Number.
What is different in the test edition
This edition uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to test App Open advertising and privacy choices. It requests Google's sample advertisements, not a live advertising unit belonging to HYM. Test advertisements still involve network requests and can involve personal data processing. Configuring a real AdMob application ID for the privacy message does not change the sample advertisement unit used by this test edition.
Ads may appear when you open the app or return to it. They are not placed inside a drawing, do not unlock drawing features, and do not require you to click them. The first two genuine entries into the foreground have no displayed ads. After those entries, eligible ads are limited to at least one hour apart and at most three per calendar day according to the phone's local date. The one-hour spacing also applies across midnight. These display limits do not mean that those entries have no consent or advertising-service network activity.
Google's advertising and consent services
According to Google's disclosure for the Mobile Ads SDK used here, the SDK collects and shares IP addresses, app and advertisement interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. An IP address can indicate an approximate location. Available identifiers depend on device settings and SDK configuration. Google states that the SDK encrypts this data in transit.
UMP contacts Google to check which privacy message or choices apply and records the resulting consent choices. The application checks UMP's permission to request ads before initializing the advertising SDK or making ad requests. A network or configuration failure does not prevent drawing and coloring.
Read Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure, UMP information, and Google's Privacy Policy for Google's handling of information and available controls. Google and the advertising partners identified in its privacy message may process information under their own policies.
Your advertising privacy choices
Where required, Google's privacy message lets you accept, decline or manage applicable choices. Tap the three dots at the top right of the home screen to open Settings & help, scroll to Ads & privacy, and choose Privacy choices when available. In the form, choose Do not consent to decline or withdraw consent, or Manage options to review available choices. Labels may differ by region and language. This entry appears when Google's privacy service requires it; a form does not necessarily appear on every launch. Drawing remains available regardless of whether an ad can be requested.
Declining consent or personalization does not necessarily mean that no ads can be requested. Google may allow limited or non-personalized advertising according to the choices and applicable configuration. You can also manage supported advertising-identifier controls in Android settings.
Your drawings, imports and local settings
Drawings, coloring progress, imported images and app preferences are stored in the test application's private storage. The application does not attach your artwork or imported images to ad requests. Drawing and coloring can be used offline.
Import, export and sharing are initiated by you. Android's file picker gives access to selected files, and Share hands an exported file to the application you choose. That destination handles the file under its own terms. Copies you export or share are separate from the local original.
The isolated .adstest application disables Android app backup. The signed
device-test build using the regular package allows eligible artwork and creative preferences
to participate in Android backup and device transfer, depending on device settings. Its backup
rules exclude advertising and consent preferences. The backup provider manages those copies;
HYM does not receive your artwork through that service.
Retention and deletion
Local artwork remains until you delete it or remove the application's storage. Deleted drawings may remain in Recently Deleted. They become eligible for cleanup after 30 days and are removed when the app runs that cleanup; you can also choose Delete permanently. Previous drawing versions are bounded by local storage limits. Clearing this application's storage or uninstalling it removes its local data, but not independent files you previously exported or shared, or copies held by a backup provider. A device backup may restore eligible data after reinstallation.
Deleting local artwork does not delete information already processed by Google. Google's retention practices and privacy controls apply to Google-held information. This notice does not assign an unverified retention period to that information.
Support and privacy requests
Contact support opens your email application with a draft containing the app version, Android version and device model. You may change or remove those details before sending. If you send a message, HYM receives the email address, message and attachments you choose to send and uses them to respond to your request. Sending a support email is separate from automatic SDK activity.
For questions about support-message retention, or a request to access, correct or delete information you supplied directly, contact webhym@gmail.com. Applicable rights depend on your location and the information involved. For data held by Google, use the relevant Google privacy controls or contact Google. We do not claim that support messages contain no personal information, or that deleting the app erases another service's records.
Permissions and intended testing
The test edition includes network and advertising-related permissions. Network access does not produce an Android runtime permission dialog. This edition does not ask you to grant camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location access for advertising.
These local builds are for development and consent testing. They request demo ads, even when a real AdMob application ID is used for the privacy message. Installing one does not demonstrate that an ad-supported store release has been approved by Google Play.
